1. If you are wearing dark fingernail polish, long, artificial nails or if your fingers are not clean, the pulse oximeter may not work properly.
2. Your fingers should be lay flat to the innermost, and the nail should not be too long, otherwise it will affect the reading of the oximeter. If the reading still cannot be displayed, you can try to test with another finger.
